Title: Host Volunteer for the Host Program (Burnaby, New Westminster, & Tri-cities)
Nature: 2-3 hours once a week for 6 months
Duties: Acquaint newcomer with Canadian culture, society, and life. Help newcomer how to live in your community.
Report to: Yumiko King / Eric Lau
Qualifications: Canadian citizen or long-time resident of Canada familiar with the social, cultural, economic and political systems inherent in BC and in Canada.
Duration and Location: Long term continuous volunteer work. Volunteers are expected to meet the participant once a week for 6 months. Location may vary depending on the nature of match activity. To be discussed between participants
Salary: Volunteer Work
Start Date: immediately upon completion of orientation
